Basic Industrial Electronics Short-Term Certificate
The Basic Industrial Electronics certificate prepares students for a career as an electronic technician. Technicians are involved in all phases of industrial and commercial installation, maintenance, and repair of today’s modern equipment. Students will learn about many areas of electronics including safety, AC/DC circuits, solid state devices, digital circuits, and industrial electronics. Hands-on labs will expose the student to basic component operation, circuit construction, residential and industrial wiring concepts, and tools of the trade.
Note that AAS degree, certificate, and short-term certificate programs are not designed to be transfer programs.

Area V: General Education Core, Technical Concentration, and Electives
NOTE: A grade of C or better is required in all Area V courses and electives.
