ILT 190 Programmable Logic Controllers
This course provides an introduction to programmable logic controllers including both hardware and software, numbering systems, installation, and programming. Emphasis is placed on developing/interpreting ladder diagrams and laboratory exercises where students will develop, load, debug, and optimize PLC programs. Students will learn to connect sensors and actuators to the PLC and utilize them to automate basic system functions.
