Complete Withdrawal from the College

A student may withdraw from all courses at ESCC. This is referred to as a complete withdrawal. A student may completely withdraw from all courses after the drop and add period and no later than the official posted last day to withdrawal listed on the Academic Calendar. Complete withdrawals must be initiated by the student utilizing the Course Withdrawal form under the Students tab of the College website.

A grade of “W” will be given for any course withdrawn after the official free drop/add period.

The student’s transcript will indicate “complete withdrawal.” Students who discontinue attendance in courses without officially withdrawing will receive the grade they earned in the course. Students receiving financial assistance may be required to reimburse the College and the U.S. Government if they completely withdraw prior to the completion of 60% of the academic term. Consult the Satisfactory Academic Progress standards for financial aid recipients section in this Catalog and Student Handbook for additional information.
