Math Tournament

The Mathematics Division sponsors an annual Math Tournament for junior and senior high school students in the College’s service area. The division awards scholarships, first, second, and third place trophies, and honorable mention ribbons in individual and team competitions in the categories of Algebra I and II, geometry, and advanced math.

Scholars’ Bowl

The ESCC Scholars’ Bowl team sponsors an annual Scholars’ Bowl for high school teams in the College’s service area. Trophies are awarded to high-performing teams and individuals, and scholarships are also offered to the best players. This competition is open to all high schools and typically occurs in December. Additionally, the Scholars’ Bowl team hosts two tournaments a year for ASCA, one in January and one in February. Admission to the Scholars’ Bowl team is done via tryouts held each year at the beginning of Fall semester. Sometimes, additional slots are available for spring semester, in which case an additional tryout may be held at the first of January.

English Tournament

The ESCC English Division hosts an English Tournament for high school students in the College’s service area. The tournament includes exams in British Literature, American Literature, language and vocabulary, as well as a speech competition.
