Violence Against Women Reauthorization Actn (VAWA) Amendments to the Jeanne Clery Act

In 2013, the Higher Education Act of 1965 was amended to require institutions to compile statistics for incidents of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking and to include certain policies, procedures, and programs pertaining to these incidents. The statistics are included in the Annual Safety Report in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Security Act.
