Advanced Manufacturing Certificate
The Advanced Manufacturing certificate provides a highly interactive hands-on course of study that prepares graduates for careers in the modern manufacturing environment. Advanced manufacturing certificate graduates will be capable of repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining manufacturing equipment including automated control systems, process control systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors, robots, and application-specific machinery. Course and lab work includes electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, programmable logic controller, robotics, process control, and mechatronics topics.
Note that AAS degree, certificate, and short-term certificate programs are not designed to be transfer programs.
Requirements
Area V: General Education Core, Technical Concentration, and Electives
NOTE: A grade of C or better is required in all Area V courses and electives.
