Accreditation Statement
Enterprise State Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees. Enterprise State Community College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Program Accreditation
The Legal Assistant/Paralegal Program maintains program approval by the American Bar Association.
The newly established Practical Nursing Program has been granted candidacy status for two years, expiring in April 2024, and will be seeking accreditation through the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
ESCC maintains programmatic accreditation in the EMT program through the Alabama Department of Public Health Office of EMS and has been granted a Letter of Review by the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP). This letter of review is a status granted by COAEMSP signifying that the program has demonstrated sufficient compliance with the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accreditation standards and will be seeking full accreditation per CAAHEP requirements. The Medical Assisting Program is currently seeking accreditation through the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB) and will be submitting a Self-Study Report in July 2022, with a visit scheduled in November 2022, and the Child Development Program will be seeking accreditation through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) by submitting a Self-Study Report in March 2023.
